Show Me Quality Consulting (SMQC) is seeking a full-time Engineer Level 2 for a remote position supporting the NASA Safety Center (NSC) Assessments and Investigations Office (AIO).
Engineer Level 2 includes Quality Engineer, System Safety Engineer, Software Safety Engineer, and System Reliability Engineer or Analyst.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, be a United States citizen, be quick learners, possess strong writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, possess a positive, collaborative attitude and the desire to improve.
The Engineer Level 2 will support the NASA Safety Center Assessments and Investigations Office to conduct value-added assessments and audits for Programs/projects across NASA’s Safety and Mission Assurance Disciplines. Expertise in all areas is not required. The Engineer Level 2 would be expected to:

Desired experience: Ideal candidates will possess some NASA or related Program/project experience and have some reliability/maintainability experience.
All SMQC employees work remotely from home offices. Candidates must have home office capability within the continental United States, including a private, quiet space to conduct work with secure internet access. Occasional travel may be required but no significant, consistent travel is expected for this position. Benefits include employer-paid health, dental and vision insurance premiums.
